While developing pages in one of my recent blog,
the main concern was search engine optimization. So we had to look into each and every detail which may affect
the SEO of the website. One major thing we found out was the naming convention
for pages. And the question was: What to use for naming pages of the website.
Whether to use underscore as a separator or a hyphen.

After reading a few contents regarding SEO we
found out that Google considers hyphen as a separator instead underscore. This
is for now but not forever as Google changes its mind very frequently and you
cannot be sure what's coming next in Google’s mind. So if you have been using
underscore for a very long time, don't change your habits or better say your
standards.
Use hyphen where possible
instead of underscore in URL
