Facebook Application Sucks Your Personal Data: FB Account Security

Facebook has always been under discussion for sucking your personal data. According to a survey most of the people are not satisfied with the security of facebook. I would rather say: it’s not about the security of personal data facebook provides you from other websites but it’s the security of personal data from facebook itself. As we have seen that most of the companies end up violating their own privacy policies, sometime accidentally and sometimes accidently on purpose. Facebook is also doing the same. It keeps all the information about you and your family, where do you work and who are your colleagues, what your profession is and what are your hobbies and interests. Facebook keeps even that information which you have deleted from your account. Whatever you feed to facebook may be you forget it but facebook never forgets it.

In fact, there are some applications which aim nothing but sucking your personal data which you won’t get so easily but using facebook applications you are compromising your confidentiality at such a low price. These applications do nothing but waste your time and get your value able data.

There are some applications that can help you find out who the real data stealers are. PrivacyScore from PrivacyChoice is a Google chrome plugin that rates how each application deals with your data rating it from 10 to 100 on security scale. It can also check other websites other than facebook. You can install this extension if you are using chrome and check the rating of any website or facebook application.
