How to Change (Customize) Displayed Author Name in Blogger!

I recently guided readers how to Adsense 300 X 600 Ad unit in blogger. Today’s Trick: Change Author Name in Blog

o   Go to Edit your template (Expand Widget Templates )

o   Press 'Ctrl' key and 'F' and Find

data:post.author

You will find lines similar to

<data:top.authorLabel/>
          <span class='fn'><data:post.author/></span> on <data:post.timestamp/>
        </b:if>

Delete the below line from the above code

<span class='fn'><data:post.author/></span>

Now add any name after this code <data:top.authorLabel/> (your name goes here)

The final code will look like this

<data:top.authorLabel/> Saif Afridi        on <data:post.timestamp/>        </b:if>

Note: you can give any name in author area,to make the name appear Bold do this

<bold> saif afridi </bold>

Now, Preview your template once you are satisfied with the end result. Save your template and that’s it.
