There is a quotation in blogging
world that post title is the king and post body is the queen.Post title is normally
considered the most important, while we apply SEO Tactics. We learned in 8 SEO Tactics how to give H2 heading to post titles so that search engine considered
them important. But today I am going to discuss the most important thing and
that is how to select keywords for a Post/Blog title .
Keywords are normally a word or two
and people search everything using keywords. For example a person looking to earn money online will type "how to make money" earn money online" all are long
tailed keywords.
Selecting keywords for post or blog;
Google Adword keyword Tool is a free tool
by Google, which can be used to search keywords easily. Log-in to Adword
keyword tool and write a keyword in a text box "earn money"
You can set the keywords to broad,
exact if you are looking for long tailed keywords select broad one. Now the
result will show the keyword, competition, local monthly searches, global
monthly searches. Before selecting any keyword make sure you add a cpc (cost
per click) by clicking on column on right sidebar. It will show us an average money an
advertiser is willing to give for a keyword.
Now select the keywords with minimum
competition, high search volume and a high cpc. Once you have selected two or
three keywords now go to Google trends
and put all the three keywords which you have shortlisted.google trends will show
you the trend of the keyword whether its demand is increasing or decreasing (mean
people are searching it or not).select the keyword which has positive trend,
and that’s it.
You can now safely write the keyword
in the post title or blog title if yon have not written blog title yet.
Stay
blessed.
Each step is shown in the below snaps.
