is all about "how to be on top of search engines"
But only those are the winners who know
how to optimize [posts & blog], you will find number of articles on SEO on
almost every blog which discuss blogging. Most of newbie’s optimize their blogs
in wrong way hence they are unable to get search engine attention. Today I will
give you some tips on how to write SEO friendly post titles in a blog.
Make your post titles SEO friendly!
In this penguin & panda age you
have to be very careful when you write your titles. Because any wrong doing can
kill you blog & ranking. Excessive use of keywords can penalize your blog,
so it is always a good practice to use one or two good keywords in title.
Post you may like to read :
1. Maximum characters in a post titles!
Well, the number of character usage
has a great impact on ranking. To know yourself how many characters should be there
in post title, write anything in search engine and then count the characters
which show up in the search. You will notice that only 66 characters of post
title are there and the rest of characters are chopped down by Google. Google
only display the first 66 characters of a post/page title, and ignore the rest
of characters. So when you write a post title make sure the character does not exceed
66.
2. Underscore vs. dashes in a post title!
Let me make you one thing very clear
that never use underscore in your title because it is used in coding, and it
can confuse the crawlers/bots.insteed of underscore use dashes, full stop,
colon, and inverted commas occasionally in your post title.
Hope this few tips help you optimize
your posts.
Peace and
blessing buddies.
