I thought to write on the hot news about the Prepaid SIMs Blocking Issue.
Few days back interior minister Rehman Malik said that
prepaid SIMs will be
Blocked in Pakistan to counter terrorism activities.
Now interior ministry sources said that all the prepaid SIMs
will not be
Blocked immediately, rather prepaid SIMs will be blocked in
various phases after
Consultation with all the concerned authorities.
Earlier on chand raat (A Day Before Eid Ul Fitr) government
suspended mobile
Services in major cities of Pakistan due to possible
terrorist attacks.

According to media reposts there is a tax issue between the
government and mobile operators.the cellular companies also wrote a letter to
Prime minister in this regard.so some people think that the government is
pressurizing the Companies to pay the tax as soon as possible.If government
blocked the prepaid sims in Pakistan it will effect the common man,so the
government should take some actions to regularize all the prepaid sims instead
of blocking them.
